Haven't finished a thing!

I currently have four unfinished knitting projects haunting me like a posse of dusty ghosts-- taking up room not only in my home, but in my mental storage cabinet as well. I'm positive that I will eventually finish everything... except that damned vest. I'm going to start looking for other patterns for which to use that Cashsoft, as even if I could find the energy & will to tease out he shaping directions to finish the front pieces, the thought of actually sewing the pieces together & then picking up stitches to finish the neck & button bands makes me slightly queasy. I'm not one to admit defeat easily, especially when what I have finished is so danged pretty, but I'm pretty close to laying down my knitting needles on this one.

Anyway, of course I started something new! I purchased the booklet for the leaf yoke cardigan pattern to knit for baby girl awhile ago, and yesterday, without much forethought, I pulled some O-Wool Balance out of the stash & cast on for it. My little girl is growing into such a beautiful doll that I absolutely must knit for her more! Don't you agree? I cut her bangs last week. She looks more & more like a little girl & less like a baby by the minute. Still not walking, though. I'm convinced she's got it all figured out this way-- if she walks on her own, why would we pick her up and carry her around? That's just not acceptable!

It will be nice when she's not dragging her clothes around on the floor, though!

Good to hear from you Michelle. That vest is so very cute and baby girl is cuter all the time. Hang in there on the vest from H.... I've knit a baby cardigan and finished all except for sewing in the sleeves. I sewed on one sleeve and it looks like a 1st grader did it - so need some help on how to do a neater job. Grrrr.

Your little girl is so adorable. She actually reminds me of the Olsen twins when they were babies (dont take that as a bad thing). I cant wait to see what you knit for her too.
