Another Snow Day Accomplishment!

We should have nine days off school for Thanksgiving more often; I've been very productive! Today I completely finished & was able to model my new skirt for photos:

I am so, so pleased with how this turned out! I know I will wear it often, and I'm pretty sure I will be knitting another soon. The pattern is The Little Flirt Skirt, and it calls for Cascade 220, which is what I used.

Next up? I think I've finally found a sweater that my 6 skeins of Dream In Color Classy wants to be. This is my third try with this yarn, including a completed sweater that was frogged and a stalled Amelia Cardigan. So far, so good on this pattern, the Tea Leaves Cardigan. Here's a detail shot of the yoke, which I have now finished along with the short rows I added to the back:

The only problem with all this productive knitting you may ask? Well, the snow is melted & it's back to work for me tomorrow! I guess it just couldn't last forever. Come on snow!!! ;)

  2. I am loving that skirt! I've never made one because I always think that I'l wear it once and my long stride will have it stretched out beyond recognition by the end of the day. How does it wear? Would you recommend this skirt having knit it and worn it?

P.S. My gloves are up on Knit Picks. Thanks again for being so much help with that!
